Consignment

Golden Gear & Exchange gladly helps you by recycling your used gear. Whether you wore it on your first mountain bike ride, skied the "radest" lines with them, climbed your favourite summit or travelled to the most remote country with it, we will gladly pass on that piece of equipment for someone else to enjoy it.

How It Works:

Bring us your experienced gear, clean and in good condition. We will open an account with your current contact information. We will help you price your items appropriately based on its condition, demand and market value. All items will be consigned for a 12 month period.

When the item sells, you will receive a minimum of 65% of the selling price.

$700 to $999

$1000 to $1999

$2000 or more

85%

You will receive an extra 5% if you choose to receive your payment in store credit.

Consignment Guidelines

  1. Consignee agrees to pay a maximum of 35% commission on items sold.
  2. Golden Gear & Exchange is not responsible for items lost due to theft, fire or disasters.
  3. Consignee must provide Golden Gear & Exchange with personal I.D. to receive payouts.
  4. GG&E reserves the right to refuse equipment based on age and condition.
  5. Consignees under the age of 16 must have parental permission to consign gear.
  6. Any consigned gear that is unsold after a 1 year period will become propriety of the Golden Gear & Exchange unless the consignment term is renewed by the consignee
